Konferencja była okazją do rozmów między przedstawicielami branży na tematy w zakresie inwestycji związanych z termicznym przekształcaniem odpadów komunalnych.
XIV edycja Konferencji „Termiczne Przekształcanie Odpadów Komunalnych” odbyła się 23-25 lutego 2022 roku w Gdańsku, zarówno stacjonarnie jak i w formie online. Konferencja organizowana jest przez Wydawnictwo „Nowa Energia”. Wydarzenie zrzesza przedstawicieli samorządów, inwestorów, przedsiębiorstw komunalnych, przedsiębiorstw energetycznych i ciepłowniczych którzy chcą podzielić się swoimi doświadczeniami i nowymi technologiami.
Tegoroczna edycja zgromadziła ponad 200 uczestników. Partnerem Konferencji był Port Czystej Energii Sp. z o.o., a Patronat Honorowy objęła Aleksandra Dulkiewicz – Prezydent Gdańska.
Trzydniowa Konferencja podzielona została na 7 paneli tematycznych podczas których uczestnicy wygłosili 29 referatów. Odbyły się także 2 panele dyskusyjne.
Podczas Konferencji dr inż. Katarzyna Stec, Dyrektor Oddziału Materiałów Ogniotrwałych w Gliwicach wygłosiła referat pt. „Ceramika ogniotrwała istotnym elementem instalacji termicznego przekształcania odpadów”.
