Enviromental Product Declarations (EPD)  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EPD are an assessment of the environmental impact of a product at each stage of its manufacture and life cycle: from the sourcing of materials, production, transport, assembly, use, to disposal and recycling. They identify the extraction of raw materials, energy consumption, water consumption and emissions, and the amount of waste produced per unit of product manufactured.

Type III environemtal declarations tare created based on standards:

  • EN ISO 14025 Environmental labels and declarations. Type III environmental declarations. Principles and procedures
  • EN 15804+A2 Sustainability of construction works - Environmental product declarations - Basic principles for the categorisation of construction products
